Whole berry sauce is the best, but high in sugar (2 cups!). Follow the directions on the cranberry bag but substitute sugar for a sweetener of your choice. Also, when making whole berry sauce, the berries retain the heat for a long time. Make this the night before and let the mixture get to room temperature by gently stirring occasionally, then place in the fridge until cold. If you're in a snowy climate you could speed up the process by sitting the bowl in the snow.
